KIDS' OIL PASTELS

Loggerhead Sea Turtle

In each week of this four week class, you will learn how to draw and use oil pastels to create shaded art. Students will learn how to use analogous colors to create shading with oil pastels. The pieces will need to dry out before being sealed. Therefore, the pieces will be available to take home the following week. This hour-long class is geared towards 7 to 11 year-olds. Class size is 12 students max.

INVESTMENT:

$20 for one class or save and join all four classes for $60 (save $20)

KIDS' WATERCOLORS

Dates & Times:

Over this 3 week course, we will be exploring how to use watercolor to create three different pieces. Each step will need to dry before adding additional layers of details. Each week, we will do a step on three separate pieces. Students will learn basic watercolor painting techniques and, upon completion of the three week classes, be able to take home their masterpieces.

We will be painting a landscape of the woods, an ice cream cone, and an orange branch.

This hour-long class is geared towards 8 to 13 year-olds. Class size is 12 students.

TIE-DYE FOR ALL AGES

Dates & Times:

September 7th, 2023

5:30-6:30pm

IMPORTANT: Bring your own shirt to this class. It’s tie-dye for! Please make sure shirts are 100% cotton.

Shirts will soak in soda ash for 30 minutes while you learn some color theory basics. Then Ember Estridge will guide you in different ways to wrap your shirt and dye it. After wrapping your shirts with rubber bands, you will use Jacquard brand fiber dyes to color your shirt. You will take your shirt home after this class. Make sure to follow the aftercare steps to ensure a bold, colorful shirt that will last you for years.
